Design with Nature : sami winter home

Villanovian Etruscan hut (IX sec.BC) rebuild at Margherita gardens in Bologna, using wood, clay and grass (phragmites communis). Hut has 4 m. diameter with floor 80 cm inside soil. It required work of 3 peoples and 15 days. Fire in the center is good enought for warmth. During Winter, phragmites are bulk stored ready for covering roof simple clay's stones (mixed with cow dung and dry grass then dried under sun) are used to build the hut walls.
